Sanary-sur-Mer, commonly referred to as Sanary, is a resort town and commune situated in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is located on the coast of Provence along the Mediterranean Sea.
The town is positioned approximately 13 km west of Toulon and 49 km southeast of Marseille. It is accessible from Paris by TGV train in under four hours, and during the high season, direct flights are available to the nearby Toulon–Hyères Airport from several European cities.
