Miramas is a commune situated in the Bouches-du-Rhône department within the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France. It serves as the second-largest commune in metropolitan Ouest-Provence.
The city is located at the north end of the Étang de Berre lagoon, positioned adjacent to and northeast of the city of Istres. The local Miramas station provides rail connections to several major destinations, including Marseille, Avignon, Martigues, and Arles.
