Thonon-les-Bains, often referred to simply as Thonon, is a city located in the Haute-Savoie department within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. It serves as a subprefecture for the area.
The city is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva and forms part of a transborder metropolitan area known as Grand Genève.
