Annecy-le-Vieux was a former commune located in the Haute-Savoie department within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France. It is situated in close proximity to the city of Annecy.
On January 1, 2017, the commune was officially merged into the larger commune of Annecy. Following this administrative change, it no longer exists as an independent municipality.
