Albi is a commune located in southern France. It serves as the prefecture of the Tarn department and is situated on the river Tarn, approximately 85 km northeast of Toulouse.
The city is home to inhabitants known as Albigensians. Additionally, it serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Albi.
