Guingamp is a commune located in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France. As of 2020, the town has a population of 7,115 residents.
The city is notable for being one of the smallest towns in Europe to have hosted a top-tier professional football team. Its club, En Avant Guingamp, competed in Ligue 1 from 2013 until 2019.
The town is accessible via the Guingamp station, which provides high-speed train connections to Paris, Rennes, and Brest. Regional rail services also connect the area to Lannion, Carhaix, and Paimpol.
