La Flèche is a town and commune located in the French department of Sarthe, within the Pays de la Loire region of the Loire Valley. It serves as the sub-prefecture of South-Sarthe and functions as the chief city of its canton.
As the second most populous city in the department, La Flèche is part of the community of communes known as the Pays La Flèche. The inhabitants of the town are referred to by the demonym Fléchois.
