Savigny-le-Temple

Savigny-le-Temple is a commune located in the Seine-et-Marne department within the Île-de-France region of north-central France. It sits on the departmental border with Essonne at a distance of approximately 33.2 km (20.6 mi) from the center of Paris.

The commune is recognized as the most populated municipality in the "new town" of Sénart, which was established in the southeastern outer suburbs of Paris during the 1970s.
