Maison Blanche was a prominent department store located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The establishment was founded in 1897 by Isidore Newman, who was an immigrant from Germany.
In addition to its presence as a single location in New Orleans, Maison Blanche eventually expanded to become a chain of department stores.
