Les Ulis is a commune located in the Essonne department of France. It is situated approximately 23 kilometers (14 miles) from the center of Paris on the southwestern edge of the metropolitan area.
The commune is characterized as a planned community consisting of outer suburbs, known as banlieues, which were constructed during the 1970s. As of 2023, Les Ulis had a population of 25,886 residents.
