Le Chesnay is a former commune situated in the Yvelines department within the Île-de-France region of north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris, approximately 16.7 km (10.4 mi) from the city center.
On January 1, 2019, Le Chesnay was merged into the new commune of Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt.
