Lagny-sur-Marne is a commune situated in the eastern outer suburbs of Paris, France. It is located within the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region, approximately 26.1 km (16.2 mi) from the center of Paris.
The municipality was officially known simply as Lagny until it was renamed to its current designation in 1971.
