Mikladalur

Faroe Islands

Mikladalur, which translates to "great valley or dale," is the largest of four villages located on the northern Faroese island of Kalsoy. It falls under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Klaksvík.

The village is situated within a large U-shaped valley on the east coast of the island. Its geographic setting is defined by its position in this distinct coastal valley landscape.
