Satawal is a solitary coral atoll consisting of a single island located in the Caroline Islands of the Pacific Ocean. It serves as a legislative district within Yap State in the Federated States of Micronesia.
The island covers an area of just over 1 square kilometer and has a population of approximately 500 people. Geographically, Satawal is the easternmost island in the Yap island group, situated about 70 kilometers (43 miles) east of Lamotrek.
