Eauripik

Micronesia

Eauripik Island is a coral atoll consisting of three islands situated in the western Caroline Islands of the Pacific Ocean. It serves as a legislative district within Yap State in the Federated States of Micronesia and is located approximately 108 kilometers southwest of Woleai.

The atoll covers a total land area of 23.6 hectares (0.236 square kilometers) and encloses a deep lagoon spanning 5.921 square kilometers (2.286 square miles). While there were originally five islets, two were washed away by typhoon waves in the late 1970s. The remaining islets are covered with coconut palms, and light southwest winds typically produce breakers on both sides of the atoll.
