Mokil, also known as Mwoakilloa, is an inhabited atoll located in the central Pacific Ocean. It belongs to the Caroline Islands and serves as a municipality within the outlying islands of Pohnpei State in the Federated States of Micronesia.
The atoll was historically referred to by several other names, including Wellington Island and Duperrey Island, the latter named after Louis Isidore Duperrey. It remains an active inhabited territory within its current administrative region.
