Tafunsak is a city and the largest settlement located on the island of Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia. It serves as the primary administrative area for its respective municipality, which covers a total area of 42.8 km2.
The municipality of Tafunsak is the largest by area in the region, encompassing 19.5 km2 of the former Walung municipality, which was incorporated into Tafunsak during the 1980s. According to the 2000 census, the population of the settlement was 2,457.
