Nasinu is an urban area located on the island of Viti Levu in Fiji. It is situated within the country's Central region and was formally incorporated as a "Town" in 1999. According to the 2017 Census, the population of Nasinu was 92,043.
The town is characterized by its significant geographical scale, possessing the largest land area of any municipal area in Fiji; it is more than twice the size of the capital city, Suva. As a major residential hub, Nasinu houses a large majority of the workforce for both its own local economy and that of Suva. In recent years, the area has seen substantial growth in its property market, resulting in significant increases in property values.
