Seinäjoki is a city located in the western interior of Finland. It serves as the regional capital of South Ostrobothnia and is situated along the Seinäjoki River.

The city has a population of approximately 67,000 people, while its surrounding sub-region has a population of about 132,000. In terms of national demographics, Seinäjoki ranks as the 16th most populous municipality in Finland and the 13th most populous urban area in the country.
