Porvoo is a city located on the south coast of Finland along the Gulf of Finland. It is situated in the eastern part of the Uusimaa region.
The city has a population of approximately 52,000 residents, while its surrounding sub-region has a population of roughly 60,000. Porvoo ranks as the 19th most populous municipality in Finland and is the country's 15th most populous urban area.
