Bonga is a town and woreda located in the Keffa Zone of Ethiopia. It serves as one of the multicapital centers for the South West Ethiopia Peoples' Region. The settlement is situated on a hill within the upper Barta valley at an elevation of 1,714 meters above sea level.
The town is geographically positioned at a latitude and longitude of 7°16′N 36°14′E. It should not be confused with another location also named Bonga, which is situated near the Gambela Region.
