Lasho is a town located in the Wolayita Zone of the South Ethiopia Regional State in Ethiopia. It serves as the administrative capital of the Kawo Koysha district and is situated at an elevation of 2,130 metres (6,990 ft) above sea level. The town is positioned at approximately 6°47'02" North and 37°28'22" East.
The town provides various public amenities, including a health center, kindergarten, primary and high schools, a daily public market, as well as 24-hour electric light and pure water services. It is located approximately 79 kilometres (49 mi) northwest of Wolaita Sodo via the B52 road and about 388 km (241 mi) southwest of Addis Ababa via Butajira, Worabe, and Wolaita Sodo.
