Gidole

Ethiopia

Gidole is a town located in southern Ethiopia within the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region. It serves as the administrative center of the Dirashe special woreda.

The town is situated at a latitude and longitude of 05°39′N 37°22′E, with an elevation ranging between 2045 and 2650 meters above sea level. Its name is derived from the Kitoola people, an ethnic group inhabiting southern Ethiopia.
