Boditi

Ethiopia

Boditi is a city and separate district located in south central Ethiopia. It serves as the administrative center of the Damot Gale district within the Wolaita Zone of the South Ethiopia Regional State. The city is situated in the East Rift Valley at an average elevation of 2,050 meters above sea level.

Geographically, Boditi is positioned at coordinates 6°56′N 37°50′E. It lies approximately 180 miles (290 km) south of the capital city, Addis Ababa, and about 86 miles (138 km) west of Hawassa. The city is bounded by Shasha-Gale Kebele to the north, Ade-Koisha Kebele to the south, Chawkare Kebele to the east, and Sibaye-Korke kebele to the west.
