Damboya is a woreda located in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. It is situated within the Kembata Tembaro Zone and serves as a primary administrative division for the area.
The region is bordered by several neighboring districts and landmarks: Kedida Gamela lies to the south, Angacha to the west, and the Hadiya Zone to the north. To the east, the Bilate River serves as the boundary separating Damboya from Alaba. The town of Damboya is located within the woreda, while the town of Durame is entirely surrounded by it.
Damboya was established as a distinct administrative entity following its separation from the Kedida Gamela woreda.
