Shire Inda Selassie, commonly known as Shire, is a city located in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia. It serves as a significant administrative hub within the region, functioning as the center for the Shire Awraja and the Semien Mi'irabawi Zone.
Historically, the city was part of the Tahtay Koraro district. It remains an important geographical and administrative point in northern Ethiopia, categorized as a separate woreda.
