Sheno, also known as Shanoo, is a town situated in central Ethiopia within the Kaba Shewa Zone of the Oromia Region. Located at an elevation of 2,918 meters above sea level, it serves as the administrative center for the Kembibit woreda.
The town features a mix of historical and modern architecture. Notable structures include a new building constructed by the German philanthropic organization Menschen für Menschen. Additionally, older buildings that currently house city administration offices and schools remain as remnants from an Italian camping site established during a five-year period of Italian presence in the area.
