Shambu (also known as Shaamboo) is a town and separate woreda located in western Ethiopia. It is situated within the Horo Guduru Welega Zone of the Oromia Region, positioned west of Lake Fincha'a.
The town sits at an elevation of 2,503 metres above sea level. Historically, Shambu served as the administrative centre for the Horro woreda.
