Gobesa is a town situated in southeastern Ethiopia. It is located within the Arsi Zone of the Oromia Region at a latitude and longitude of 07°37′N 39°30′E.
The town sits at an elevation of 2,353 meters above sea level. It serves as the administrative center for the Sherka woreda.
