Dabat is a town located in northern Ethiopia within the Amhara Region. It is situated in the Semien Gondar Zone and serves as one of two towns in the Dabat woreda.
The town is positioned along the Gondar-Debarq highway, approximately 50 kilometers north of Gondar. It is located within the Semien Mountains region.
