Elda

Elda is a city and municipality situated in the province of Alicante within the Valencian Community of Spain. As of 2009, the city had a total population of 55,618 inhabitants, making it the seventh most populous city in its province.

The urban area of Elda is characterized by the presence of the Vinalopó river, which flows through the region. Additionally, Elda joins with the neighboring town of Petrer to form a conurbation that houses nearly 100,000 residents.
