Elche, also known as Elx, is a city and municipality located in the province of Alicante within the Valencian Community of Spain. It is situated in the comarca of Baix Vinalopó.
As of 2024, the city has a population of 242,317 inhabitants, making it the third-most populated municipality in the Valencian Community region.
