Sarrià-Sant Gervasi is one of the largest districts in Barcelona, located in the Catalonia region of Spain. Situated in the north-west of the city, it is bordered by the districts of Les Corts, Gràcia, Eixample, and Horta-Guinardó, as well as the villages of Sant Just, Sant Feliu, Molins de Rei, and Sant Cugat.
The district is formed by the historical villages of Sarrià, Vallvidrera, Santa Creu d'Olorda, and Sant Gervasi de Cassoles. While the origins of the village of Sarrià date back to a Roman colony, its first written record was found in 987. The area is notable for being the district with the highest per capita income, the largest proportion of university degrees, and the lowest unemployment rate in the city.
The district also houses the old Monestir de Pedralbes, which originally belonged to the village of Sarrià and currently serves as the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
