Lleida is a city situated in the western part of Catalonia, Spain. It serves as the capital and largest town of the province of Lleida, as well as the Segrià county and the Ponent region. Geographically, the city is located within the Catalan Central Depression.
As of 2022, the city had a population of 140,797 inhabitants. It remains a significant urban center in the western region of the autonomous community.
