Cerdanyola del Vallès is a municipality located in the comarca of Vallès Occidental within the Catalonia region of Spain. Geographically, it is situated on the north side of the Collserola ridge.
The town is well-connected by several transportation routes, including the A-7 and C-58 motorways, the N-150 road, and the Renfe railway commuter lines R4 and R7. It is notably home to the main campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
