La Viñuela is a municipality located in the province of Málaga within the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It belongs to the comarca of La Axarquía and sits at an elevation of 162 metres above sea level.
The village is situated approximately 45 kilometres from the provincial capital of Málaga and 19 kilometres inland from the coast at Torre del Mar. Residents of the municipality are known as viñoleros, and one of its notable hamlets is Los Romanes.
