Torremolinos is a municipality located in the Andalusia region of southern Spain, situated west of Málaga. Historically, it functioned as a poor fishing village until the late 1950s when the area began to experience significant growth in tourism.
The town was the first resort developed along the Costa del Sol and remains the most popular destination in the region today.
