Estepona is a town and municipality situated in the Costa del Sol region of southern Spain. It is located within the province of Málaga as part of the autonomous community of Andalusia.
The municipality covers an area of 137 square kilometers, characterized by a landscape that includes a fertile valley intersected by small streams. The geography also features mountainous terrain dominated by the Sierra Bermeja, which reaches a peak elevation of 1,449 meters at Los Reales.
