Rivas-Vaciamadrid is a city located in the Community of Madrid, Spain. It serves as part of the larger Madrid metropolitan area and is situated approximately 15 km southeast of central Madrid.
The municipality is characterized by its significant ecological features. In its southern region, the Manzanares River flows into the Jarama River, forming part of the Lower Manzanares and Jarama Rivers Regional Park. This park encompasses nearly three-quarters of the municipality, establishing it as an important ecological center featuring various species of wildlife and numerous lakes.
