Hummet is a city located in Eritrea.
While there is a geographical location known as Hummet in Eritrea, the name is also associated with the Muslim Social Democratic Party (Hummet or Hummat). This was a left-wing political party based in the South Caucasus. In 1920, the organization merged with the Baku communist group Adalat to establish the first Communist Party of Azerbaijan.
