Tichla is a small town located in Western Sahara under Moroccan occupation. It is situated within the rural commune of Aousserd Province, which falls under the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region.
According to data from the 2004 census, the commune had a total population of 6,036 people residing in 102 households. The area is also notable for being located a few kilometers away from the Tichla Fortress.
