Guerguerat is a small village located in the far southwest region of Western Sahara, which is currently occupied by Morocco. It serves as a remote settlement situated near significant geographical landmarks and international boundaries.
The village is positioned approximately 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) from the border with Mauritania and lies about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from the Atlantic Ocean.
