Bir Ganduz, also known as Bir Gandouz, is a village located in Western Sahara that is currently under Moroccan control. It serves as the headquarters for Morocco's Aousserd Province and is classified as a rural commune.
According to the 2014 Moroccan census, the village had a recorded population of 4,625 residents. The area contains a Moroccan military post; however, it is not officially designated as a border post. While the actual border with Mauritania is located to the west on the RN1 at Guerguerat, stamps issued at that location have historically borne the name of Bir Ganduz.
