Port Said is a port city located in northeast Egypt. It extends approximately 30 km along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and straddles the west bank of the northern mouth of the Suez Canal.

The city serves as the capital of the Port Said Governorate, which it comprises for the majority of its area, including seven of the governorate's eight administrative regions. As of 2024, the city had a population of 790,000 people.
