Beni Suef is a city located in Egypt and serves as the capital of the Beni Suef Governorate. It is situated on the west bank of the Nile River, approximately 110 km south of the national capital, Cairo.
The city functions as an important agricultural trade center for the region. Additionally, it is home to Beni Suef University.
