Bilbeis is an ancient fortress city situated on the eastern edge of the southern Nile Delta in Egypt. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 20 kilometers from the city of 10th of Ramadan and roughly 50 kilometers from Cairo.
The site serves as the location of the ancient city and former bishopric of Phelbes. Additionally, it is recognized as a Latin Catholic titular see.
