Abu Hammad is a city located in Egypt that serves as the administrative center of Abu Hammad Markaz within the Sharqia Governorate. It is situated at an average elevation of 228 meters above sea level.
The city is positioned approximately 17 kilometers southeast of Zagazig, which is the capital of the governorate. As of 2023, Abu Hammad had a total population of 46,004 residents.
