Banha

Banha is a city located in north-eastern Egypt and serves as the capital of the Qalyubiyya Governorate. It is considered a component of Greater Cairo and was officially founded as a city in 1850.

The city functions as an important transport hub situated between Cairo and the city of Tanta. Its strategic location allows rail lines traveling from Cairo to various cities throughout the Nile Delta to pass through Banha.
