Zula is a small town located in central Eritrea. It is situated along the coast of the Red Sea, specifically near the head of Annesley Bay.
The town is notable for its proximity to the archaeological site of Adulis, which lies approximately four kilometers away. Historically, Adulis served as an important emporium and functioned as a port for the kingdom of Axum.
