The Zhuya is a river located in the Irkutsk Oblast of East Siberia within the Russian Federation. It serves as the second largest tributary of the Chara River, measured by both its length and the area of its drainage basin.
The river spans a total length of 337 kilometres (209 miles) and possesses a drainage basin covering approximately 22,600 square kilometres (8,700 square miles). The surrounding region is largely uninhabited, though the small goldmining settlement of Svetly and the village of Perevoz are situated along its banks.
